A.C. (Annette) Mülberger Rogele, Prof
Annette Mülberger studied psychology and specialized with her PhD in the history of psychology. Before her arrival to Groningen, she taught many years at the Faculty of Psychology (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) bachelor and master courses. At the same time she started to collaborate with historians of science and medicine. Between 2016 and 2019 she was the director of the Centre for History of Science (UAB). She is a member of several scientific societies: the Spanish Society for History of Psychology (board member), European Society for History of Science (ESHS), Forum for the History of Human Sciences (HSS), Rede Iberoamericana de Pesquisadores em História da Psicologia, and was two times elected as president of the European Society for the History of the Human Sciences (ESHHS). Between 2002 and 2006 she was vice-dean and part of the faculty board at the UAB. She publishes in several languages (English, Spanish, German, Catalan, French, Italian and Portuguese). Her interdisciplinary research connects the area of history of psychology with other fields such as the history of science, education, criminology and medicine.
Recently, together with Prof. Johannes Westberg, she set up a new expertise centre DEEP: Dutch Expertise Centre for the History of Education and Psychology.
