Study duration and study load per week
The normal four-year programme (3-year Bachelor’s programme plus 1-year Master’s programme) for Philosophy, Frisian Language and Culture, History, Law and Psychology can be stretched over about seven years.
N.B. The masterprogramme Psychology cannot be studied in part-time!
The programmes in Greek and Latin Language and Culture and Theology can be completed in six years. With Theology, the student can decide the study speed and choose a duration of between six and nine years. You will need two academic years to pass the propaedeutic phase.
The average study load (lectures and homework) is about twenty hours a week for all part-time programmes.
