Interactive workshops

  • Implanted digital technology and music
By Deniz Baskent, Ellie Harding and Robert Harris (University of Groningen)
In this interactive workshop, we aim to show how health innovation can help to increase the impact of health technology. We first introduce the “bionic ear” or cochlear implant and give demos of what kind of sound the implant can produce, including what music sounds like. We then share about our musical training program that aims to train the brain to maximize the hearing with a cochlear implant.
  • Sync - Past, Present and Future
    By Ringo
With over 80 million "real" songs available, the question is no longer just about what music we should compose for a commercial, TV scene, game, trailer, or film, but rather how we can find the perfect track at scale and how we can license the perfect track efficiently. In this workshop, Remi Agostini, CEO MEWO.OP, Marcel Alexander Wiebenga, CEO and founder of Ringo and Nitzan Hoffmann, Project Manager at FXR will delve into the industry's challenges and opportunities and show how emerging technologies and platforms utilizing AI and Web3 can help the sync industry reach its full financial and creative potential.
  • Test like the Best!
By Linda Vermaat - Innofest Nederland
This workshop is about the importance of testing within the events and music industry. How can testing help your innovation move forward and how do you set up a test? Led by Linda Vermaat (Innofest), you will go deeper into applying the methodology and be given tools to set up a test.
