Dr. Graeme Blake won the 'Teacher of the Year' Award 2017-2018 for the Top Master Nanoscience
On June 26 2018 during the Nanosymposium the Teacher of the Year Award 2017-2018 for Nanoscience was awarded to dr. Graeme Blake.
The election was organized by the student members of the programme committee of Nanoscience. All Nanoscience students (of both active cohorts) were able to vote for the teacher of the year and motivate their choice.
Some quotes:
'Dr. Graeme Blake is able to explain complex concepts in a very simple and easy to follow way. His clear and understandable voice combined with well-prepared slides really help with this.''Also students feel very comfortable to ask questions during and outside of the lectures. This is supported by the fact that dr. Graeme Blake is always available for the students if they have questions or want to discuss other (research related) things.
Besides this dr. Graeme Blake also personally guides students during practicals to make sure they also get experienced with the practical side of the course material.'
The teacher of the year election for he Top Master Nanoscience is organized every year by the student members of the programme committee.
