The 2017/2018 Zernike Colloquium Series started with Prof. Ivan Schuller and a full house
On November 2nd, 2017 we started another series of Zernike Colloquia. The Zernike Colloquium is a series of guest lectures by world-renown scientists. Since its establishment in 2008 almost 60 scientists have visited Groningen and gave excellent and stimulating talks. The 2017/2018 series started by a talk of Prof. Ivan K. Schuller of the Department of Physics and Center for Advanced Nanoscience of University of California San Diego, USA on Neuromorphic Computing. This "hot topic" triggered a lot of interest and led to a full house. We hope to also welcome this many guests to the next colloquium on December, 7th by David Cahen of the Weizmann Institute, Israel. Please check the full list of speakers and note the upcoming colloquia to your agenda.
