L.A. (Lukas) Linsi, PhD
Dr. Lukas Linsi is a political economist based at the Department of International Relations and International Organization (IRIO), Faculty of Arts. He was trained in international economics and political science, obtaining his PhD from the London School of Economics. His research and teaching focus on corporate power, international trade and the politics of economic measurement. He is currently working on a book project on 'globalization myths', a series of distorted yet widely held views of the state of the global economy. Besides that, he is also interested in the political economy of academia and scientific research as institutionalized social practices.
At the YAG, Lukas has co-chaired the Interdisciplinarity Working Group for over two years and has been a Board member since September 2023. He will be chairing the YAG in 2024-25.
