July 2021. The projection of obesity prevalence for the United Kingdom by Fanny Janssen et al. (2020) is featured in the "National Food Strategy - The Plan" report, a government commissioned independent review into the food system in England/United Kingdom, which contains 14 recommendations to address the major issues facing the national food system: climate change, biodiversity loss, land use, diet-related disease, health inequality, food security and trade. April 2017, Fanny Janssen presented joint research with Joop de Beer (NIDI) on the future of life expectancy in the Netherlands to King Willem-Alexander. The King of the Netherlands visited the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI), a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), in his capacity as patron of the KNAW.
