Agent-based modeling
ABM is a tool that explicitly represent the relations and descriptions of real-world systems comprised by individual components (agents) that interact with each other and with their environment, according to simple rules in discrete space-time. ABM supports the incorporation of qualitative and quantitative data, while providing a tool for scenario analysis. The tool holds a potential as to support decision-making.
