Urban and Regional Studies Institute
The Urban and Regional Studies Institute (URSI) is the organisational entity in which research in the Faculty of Spatial Sciences takes place. URSI has a single overarching research theme, towards Well-being, Innovation and Spatial Transformation (tWIST), although within this theme there are some 15 topics of research interest. URSI was established in November 1999. Its current Director is prof. Ina Horlings.
