The aim of this research project is about the energy-based modelling, analysis, control and optimization of hybrid DC-AC microgrids
Much research is being devoted to the development of future generation of power networks in which renewable energies will progressively increase their presence in the network, reducing the number of gas turbine and sy nchronou s generators . This transition will be enabled by small- or medium-size aggregations of energy producers and consumers called microgrids, which may operate autonomously or interconnected to the main grid. The aim of this research project is about the energy - based modelling, analysis, control and optimization of hybrid DC-AC microgrids.
