Pillar 5: Communication

Communication is key to stimulating a culture change in academia in which Open Science becomes the norm. The objective of this pillar is to raise awareness about Open Science and to inform the UG community about support and infrastructure options and the programme’s progress. We will closely collaborate with all faculties to develop a tailor-made communications approach that optimally aligns information provision as well as existing and novel Open Science services to the needs of UG staff.

Deliverables:

• Take stock of interdisciplinary differences across UG faculties on the role of Open Science
• Develop tailor-made information campaigns and events for academic staff
• Create informational material and branding for Open Science-related activities
• Organize the annual Open Research Award
