We are pleased to invite you to the third event of the UG/UMCG Public Engagement (PE) Network organized as part of the Open Science Programme.
Please join us on Wednesday 5 July, together we will explore how we can make the next step in fostering Public Engagement across the UG and UMCG.
About the event
Our special guest will be Maddy Foard of the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE). She will share her experience in supporting British knowledge institutes building their PE support.
After a plenary session, there will be workshops on:

How to continue and advance our PE strategy and network across UG/UMCG?

How to best support our researchers to engage?

What makes a good PE project proposal?

How to foster citizen science at UG/UMCG?
We will close the afternoon with some good examples of PE and drinks.
