The Centre for Global Knowledge Studies (gloknos) is celebrating the publication of three unique contributions to the critique of dominant social science theory and epistemology, all of which were recently published (2024) in its book series on Global Epistemics, edited by Prof. Inanna Hamati-Ataya at Rowman & Littlefield (an imprint of Bloomsbury).

We are delighted to host the authors, who will present their work and engage in a collective conversation on the promises of post-hegemonic knowledge in the current global intellectual moment:

  • Gennaro Ascione (Concept Formation in Global Studies: Post-Western Approaches to Critical Human Knowledge);
  • Eric Macé (ed.) (An Invitation to Non-Hegemonic World Sociology);
  • and Lucas Van Milders (Unthinking Epistemicide).
