JAUW International Fellowship Programme

Fellowships for female graduates (of any nationality other than Japanese, living outside Japan) to undertake study or research at a host institute in Japan for up to six months.

The Japanese Association of University Women (JAUW) is a membership organisation for graduates of universities which are authorised by the Japanese Ministry of Education. The JAUW promotes higher education for women, works to improve the status of women and girls, encourages global friendship between women graduates and promotes peace.

JAUW offers the International Fellowship Programme to enable female postgraduates from outside of Japan to spend a period of between four and six months at a host institution in Japan to undertake research or study.

The 2019 Fellowships are tenable between October 2019 and March 2020.
