Research assessment
In accordance with the Groningen Research Assessment Protocol, the Heymans Institute for Psychological Research has undergone a research assessment for the period 2017-2022.
To this end, a self-evaluation describing the activities, strengths and output of the Heymans Institute was written by the director of the institute. The self evaluation, along with the appendix with tables and case studies, are publicly available. In addition, the Heymans Institute has joined forces with seven other institutes in the Netherlands (Erasmus University, Maastricht University, Open University, Utrecht University, University of Amsterdam, University Leiden and Vrije VU Amsterdam) to describe the current state of psychological research at a national level.
A committee consisting of international peers has assessed the quality and impact of research at the Heymans Institute and the seven other institutes and published their positive findings. Here you will find their assessment of the national level as well as the specific assessment of Groningen’s psychological research.
