Meet the GGSL Team

Prof. dr. Albertjan Tollenaar – Director

As director of the GGSL, Albertjan is responsible for the policy and scientific quality of both the Research Master's and the PhD programme. He chairs the admission committee for the Research Master and the selection committee for PhD grants. Additionally, he advises the Faculty Board on PhD project continuation, collaborates with external partners, and is available for consultations regarding ongoing student assistantships and PhD projects.

Drs. Marjolijn Both – Coordinator

Marjolijn oversees the development and implementation of policies for the Research Master and PhD programmes. She maintains contact with the PhD council and the Programme Committee, ensures proper documentation of GGSL activities, provides guidance to students and PhD students during their studies, and serves as a confidential advisor.

Dr. Anita Kram – Project Manager

Anita is responsible for student and PhD student administration within the GGSL. She maintains records in Hora Finita, oversees the approval process for PhD manuscripts and ceremonies, and handles financial matters related to the GGSL.
