VENI grant for Yang Li
Systems genetics of metabolic fluxes
Dr Yang Li has been awarded an NWO VENI grant (250,000 euros) to perform genetic analyses on multiple molecular levels to provide insight into how a genotype relates to a phenotype. She will use this approach to look for heritable causes of metabolite flow rate (flux) through metabolic pathways.
Dr. Li has recently taken up a post-doc position in Prof. Cisca Wijmenga's research group to perform systems genetics and bioinformatic studies on celiac disease, with a focus on non-coding regions of the genome. More on Yang LI; Systems Genetics research
