
Iris Jonkers awarded a Rosalind Franklin Fellowship
Today the University of Groningen Board announced the award of six new Rosalind Franklin Fellowships, including one to our postdoctoral fellow Dr Iris Jonkers, who joined the department last year.
A Rosalind Franklin Fellowship is a prestigious 5-year grant for women at an early stage of their academic careers, but with a proven track record of excellence. The fellowships are highly competitive. This funding will allow Iris to establish an independent research programme and, if successful, will lead to a more permanent academic position.
