Supervisor: Prof. dr. Gert Vegter (JBI)

Gert Vegter is a professor of Geometry at the Johann Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Groningen. He obtained his Ph.D. in Dynamical Systems from the University of Groningen in 1983. His research covers a broad range of subfields of Geometry, ranging from Differential Geometry and Singularity Theory on the more theoretical side, to Computational Geometry and Topology on the more applied side.
