Learning Communities
First-Year Learning Community
First-Year Learning Community (LC) is coaching in small IEM student groups for mentoring, support with course units, and generally applicable skills such as academic writing, LaTeX, Matlab support, and ad-hoc topics which originate from group members.
Second-Year Learning Community
The Second-Year LC is a more focused and advanced version of the First-Year LC with dedicated feedback on reporting, writing, and working in groups as required in second-year course units. Furthermore, practical engineering applications are embedded, such as the Ornithopter Project.
