Looking back on the first CogniGron Research Away Day
The Research Away Day on 27 June 2024 was a productive and engaging event, bringing together participants to discuss new ideas and future directions for CogniGron. The event included brainstorm sessions on key research themes and organising interdisciplinary collaborations, providing a platform for generating innovative solutions.

Scientific speed dating allowed researchers to exchange ideas quickly and foster new partnerships, while discussions on neuromorphic applications focused on developing brain-inspired computing demonstrators. A session by Brain Fuel gave attendees insights into their personality archetypes, enhancing the brainstorm sessions.
The day also featured petit fours with the CogniGron logo and a barbecue, offering opportunities for informal networking. Plans for the next Research Away Day are already underway, reflecting the success and positive feedback from this event.
A big thank you to all participants and of course the organising team!
