Dr. Serte Donderwinkel — assistant professor in probability theory at CogniGron — has been invited to be a funded research member of the programme 'Probability and Statistics of Discrete Structures' at the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute in Berkeley.

During her four months in the US, she will exchange ideas and set up new collaborations on the topic of random networks. She will bring along some questions motivated by challenges in neuromorphic computing, and we are excited to learn about the insights she will return with.
