Heeres and Heeres receive Groene Groninger award

Erik Heeres, professor in Green Chemical Reaction Engineering of the Engineering institute ENTEG of the University of Groningen, and his brother Andre received the 'Groene Groninger'. This is an award from the regional chemical industry for a person/persons that made a huge contribution to sustainable development of chemistry in Groningen. Congratulations!

Nienke Homan, regional minister of the province of Groningen, about the prize: "Heeres and Heeres are awarded the Groene Groninger because their research provided insights into the route to green chemistry in the Eems Delta region while making strong connections between the knowledge institutes and industry”
