Aromatic-aromatic interactions between aromatic polyelectrolytes and aromatic counterions at the liquid and solid states
Aromatic-aromatic interactions between aromatic polyelectrolytes and aromatic counterions produce site-specific binding able to change both the properties of the counterions and the polymer chain. We will see some of these changes in solution, and discussed to what extent the new properties can be trasnferred to the solid state to design
advanced materials with improved functionality.
