EITM-funded project "Data Science Training for Solving Manufacturing Issues'' for Distributed Systems research group
The Distributed Systems research group at the Bernoulli Institute has acquired a one year EITM-funded project "Data Science Training for Solving Manufacturing Issues'' with a total funding of 388,516 €. This educational project is a result of collaboration between University of Groningen (Dilek Dustegor), and Grenoble INP (Vinicius Affonso De Carvalho). The project focuses on the training of professionals for the digital transformation and a sustainable manufacturing of the future. Following a blended andragogical learning approach, learners will be trained to design, develop, implement and deploy the correct Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science (DS) solution adapted to real manufacturing cases, especially related to production systems optimization, quality control and maintenance.
