Raffaella Carloni won FSE Impact Award 2023

During the faculty's New Year's reception Raffaella Carloni (Autonomous Perceptive Systems) was presented the FSE Impact Award 2023.
Raffaella received the Award in the category researchers and obtained a cash prize of 1,500 euros for impact activities. It has been awarded to her for her work on bionic knees. Her research project is about a methodology and technology to mimic the functionality of a healthy human knee in lower-limb prosthetics. The award was presented by Managing Director Esther Marije Klop.
Raffaella is now FSE's candidate for the UG-wide Ben Feringa Impact Award.
