Title: 4D Flow Temporal Phase Regularisation
Abstract:
We present two phase regularisation techniques which penalise the finite differences of the phase under the $\ell_1$ and $\ell_2$ norm. We take complex images reconstructed with the Berkeley Advanced Reconstruction Toolbox (BART) as a priori knowledge which we can use in our reconstruction and study whether performing additional phase regularisation leads to an improved phase. Simulations are performed on two datasets; synthetic data generated with a pulsatile Stokes flow and real data generated with a phantom flow experiment. Results with the synthetic data show an improvement in phase whereas no significant improvement is observed in the real data.
