Title: Linear inhomogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients
Abstract:
In this lecture, we study second order linear inhomogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients. After the lecture and homework problems, students will be able to solve second order linear inhomogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients using the method of undetermined coefficients.
Students are assumed to be able to solve first and second order linear homogeneous differential equations and first order linear inhomogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients. The lecture is aimed at first-year calculus students, in particular physics students.
