Title: On the factorization of p-adic L-series
Abstract:
Ever since the work of Iwasawa, the interest around p-adic L-function has grown, due to the many application to a wide range of arithmetic problems (e.g. BSD conjecture). I will report on some recent developments in the theory of factorization of p-adic L-function, exploiting the seminal work of Gross as motivating example. I will not assume any familiarity with the subject.
