TITLE: Trace formulas in Spectral Geometry
ABSTRACT :
Spectral Geometry revolves around the interplay between properties of quantum mechanics, in the form of the spectrum of the Laplace operator,
and the geometric properties of the underlying space. One of the important tools are singularity trace expansions. I will explain what these are, why they are important, and discuss a generalization to stationary Lorentzian space times.
