Student Organization Groningen Legal Advice Centre

The SOG Rechtsbureau [Student Organization Groningen Legal Advice Centre] is part of the Student Organization Groningen and provides free legal advice to students. In addition, individuals can contact the Legal Advice Centre with any legal questions they may have.

The SOG Rechtsbureau comprises advanced law students of the University of Groningen, who want to put their knowledge into practice this way.  Questions are dealt with via the contact form, by e-mail, telephone or in person during the weekly consultation hour. This consultation hour takes place every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The SOG Rechtsbureau is affiliated to the Stichting Steunpunt Bemiddelingskosten Groningen [Foundation for the Support of Mediation Costs Groningen]. This is a collaboration between the Groninger Studentenbond [Groningen Students’ Union] , the Kamerbewoners Adviesburo and the SOG Rechtsbureau Groningen. The Steunpunt Bemiddelingskosten Groningen offers help to individuals who have wrongfully paid excessive mediation costs when they entered into their rental contract.
