Access to Medicines
The Groningen Centre for Health Law holds a key expertise in access to medicines and law related research. Our research programme in this area spans across all aspects of the ‘pharma lifeline’ (development – registration – patient use of medicines) and addresses both normative as well as technical legal issues.
Key focus areas include: access to medicines through domestic legislation and policy for universal health coverage, intellectual property, innovation and public health, and legal and ethical aspects of global drug development more generally.
