Dr. Romain Mauger published article on forced nuclear energy reactors shutdown in France
On 24 April 2018, Dr. Romain Mauger just published a new piece in The Journal of World Energy Law & Business entitled ‘Forced nuclear energy reactors shutdown in France: the Energy Transition Act’s mechanisms’.
The article assesses the legal provisions of the Energy Transition towards Green Growth Act adopted in 2015 in France supposed to allow the reduction of the share of nuclear energy in the electricity generation mix from 75% currently to 50% by 2025.
As this article highlights, the mechanisms of the Energy Transition Act remain inadequate and inefficient to reach this goal. (Registration required)
