Inaugural conference of the Groningen Centre for European Financial Services Law

On 30 September 2016 the Groningen Centre for European Financial Services Law (GCEFSL) held its inaugural international conference in Amsterdam on the topic ‘Towards Sustainable Financial Services in the EU: Making Sense of the Trend’. The conference brought together leading academics, financial supervisors, legal practitioners, as well as representatives of consumer associations and the financial services industry, attracting more than than one hundred delegates. Among the speakers were also the GCEFSL members
