Transdisciplinary Open GamEs for Teams in Higher Education and Research (TOGETHER)

The urgency to invest in sustainable development has never been greater. However, political setbacks highlight the complexity of turning this urgency into meaningful action.

Addressing these global challenges requires a transdisciplinary approach, where experts from diverse academic fields collaborate effectively. Unfortunately, traditional education often falls short in preparing students for such cross-disciplinary cooperation. While some small-scale master programs offer this training, the majority focus solely on their specific fields, leaving students to develop these skills on their own or with future employers.

This project seeks to bridge this gap by equipping students with the necessary tools and knowledge to drive sustainable change from within their studies. The researchers involved aim to cultivate innovators who are prepared to tackle complex challenges related to sustainability, both in the Netherlands and across Europe.

Through this program, students will engage in collaborative learning experiences that encourage them to think beyond their individual disciplines and work together towards common goals. By fostering a deeper understanding of interdisciplinary teamwork and sustainable practices, the researchers aim to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.
