Sharing perspectives: Legal requirements and technological reality in human oversight of AI systems
The AI Act imposes requirements on human oversight and transparency for high-risk AI systems. However, it remains unclear to users and developers of AI systems what these requirements entail. Additionally, legal experts are uncertain about how these requirements affect the design of AI systems.
This project brings together technical and legal experts to identify the most pressing questions. What do AI experts want to learn from legal experts? And what do legal experts need to understand from AI experts? By addressing these questions, priorities can be set, and the interdisciplinary impact of AI research can be improved.
