Adriaan Wierenga, LL.M., appointed member of supervisory committee WODC research

Adriaan Wierenga , LL.M., emergency law specialist and researcher at our Faculty, has been appointed member of the supervisory committee for the WODC study “Final Evaluation of Squatting Ban Enforcement Act”.
Squatting Ban Enforcement Act
The study “Final Evaluation of Squatting Ban Enforcement Act” identifies the efficiency and effectiveness of that law. It also studies which intended and unintended effects have occurred after the introduction of the recent amendments to that law.
Also involved in previous studies
It is not the first time Wierenga takes on the role of supervisory committee member: he also fulfilled this role in the study in which the baseline measurement prior to the enactment of this law was done. Likewise, he was a committee member on the study 'Evaluation of Squatting Ban Enforcement Act. Phase 2: 1-measurement'.
Wierenga was also part of the supervisory committee of the WODC study on the modernization of state emergency law, which was commissioned by the House of Representatives.
