New collaboration with University of Western Australia, Faculty of Law
On Tuesday April 5th, the Faculty moved forward with a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Western Australia (UWA), located in Perth, Australia. Both faculties of law, at UWA and University of Groningen, seek to enhance relations between the two by developing academic and cultural exchange in student and staff mobility, teaching, research, and further activities.
Professor Erika Techera, Dean of the UWA Law School visited Groningen to discuss the collaboration and sign the MOU. A student exchange agreement as part of the MOU is currently being finalized and it is hoped the first exchange students, incoming and outgoing, will be able to embark on studies abroad in the 2016-2017 academic year.
