Energy MOOC: 'Solving the Energy Puzzle'
The University of Groningen produced a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on the Energy Transition: Solving the Energy Puzzle: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Energy Transition. Professor Martha Roggenkamp, on behalf of GCEL, also participates in this MOOC. After a successful first year, it will start again on October 24th 2016.
The academic disciplines that are featured in the course are economics, physics, spatial planning, psychology and law. Professor Roggenkamp will address important legal questions related to market liberalisation, emissions trade, offshore electricity generation and the development of smart grids.
The course is free of charge. The duration is 7 weeks, with 4 hours per week. It is accessible via Futurelearn.
