Prof, Kochenov to participate in the launch of an EU citizens' initiative on minority protection
Prof. Dimitry Kochenov (EU Constitutional Law) will take plart in a meeting of legal experts at the European Parliament on January 22, assisting the Federal Union of European Nationalities in launching an EU citizens' initiative aimed at improving the legal climate for ethnic minority protection in the European Union. The meeting will be attended by a handful of scholars working in the field of law and culture and EU minority protection law, as well as the Members of the European Parliament representing minority constituences. Prof. Kochenov's latest work on minority protection is appearing later this year in an Oxford University Press volume on 'International Approaches to Managing Ethnic Diversity' edited by Will Kymlicka and Jane Boulden.
