Four Round Tables in Honour of Prof. L.W. Gormley

On Friday 5 April there will be a conference organized in honour of the career and scholarship of Prof. Laurence Gormley, Professor of European Law and Jean Monnet Professor at our Faculty, who will retire later this year.

This event will consist of four round tables centred on Laurence's main research interests, and a keynote speech by Eleanor Sharpston, Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the EU.

Other speakers include Prof. Paul Nihoul, Judge at the General Court of the EU; Prof. Sir Alan Dashwood, Emeritus Professor at Cambridge; Prof. Ioannis Lianos, Professor of Global Competition Law at University College London; Prof. Peter-Christian Müller-Graff, Professor of Economic Law and European Law at Heidelberg University; Prof. Hans Micklitz, Professor of Economic Law at the European University Institute, and numerous others.

The conference is convened by Prof. F. Amtenbrink; Prof. G.T. Davies; Prof. D.V. Kochenov and Mr. J. Lindeboom.
