International conference 'Public and Private Enforcement of European Private Law: Perspectives and Challenges'
On Friday 25 April 2014 the Department of Private Law and Notarial Law of the University of Groningen will host an international conference on Public and Private Enforcement of European Private Law: Perspectives and Challenges in Groningen, the Netherlands. The conference will be held at the Van Swinderen Huys, Oude Boteringestraat 19, Groningen.
The Department of Private Law and Notarial Law organizes the conference in collaboration with Groningen Centre for Law and Governance (GCL), Groningen Graduate School of Law (GGSL), and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
The conference aims to bring together legal scholars and practitioners in order to discuss the relationship between administrative and judicial enforcement in different fields of European private law and the consequences of different enforcement strategies for the development of substantive private law rules.
