Can you remember how you found your first job? And the qualifications that were needed for that position? No doubt, it was quite a challenge making the step from studying to professional practice. For students in this position, a single conversation can sometimes be very enlightening and can make a world of difference.
Many students would benefit from information about the job market during their degree programme, and a discussion with a practitioner: an experienced professional who can tell them what the day-to-day work of a lawyer involves. Not all students have access to someone who can give them this information.
Do you enjoy acting as a mentor? Would you like to supervise/coach one or more of our students with their career questions and perhaps allow them access to your own network? Are you interested in giving guest lectures on a topic from your day-to-day professional practice?
If so, please contact Marjolijn Groendijk, professional field policy officer and chair of the alumni committee.
