Exploring Human Rights: UDHR 75 Workshop Hosted by Honours Students
On December 10th, 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) marked a pivotal moment in global development. In commemoration of its 75th anniversary, Dr. Roxani Fragou has organised a captivating UDHR Seminar Series at our University.
As part of this celebration, we are thrilled to invite you to an engaging workshop on Tuesday, December 12th, from 17:00 to 19:00, at the Scheltemazaal and Bakker-Nortzaal (Rolinggebouw). This workshop, designed for honours students, will delve into crucial topics such as Civil and Political Human Rights, Social, Economic, and Cultural Rights, emerging human rights, and the future challenges associated with human rights. Our goal is to attract a diverse audience of students, fostering a rich exchange of ideas.
These sessions promise to offer valuable insights into the realm of human rights, exploring the profound impact of the UDHR document and addressing its current challenges. Join us for an insightful and impactful event. Your presence will contribute to the vibrant discussions and shared learning experience.
We look forward to welcoming you on December 12th!
