Undergraduate and graduate law students are invited to submit presentation pitches exploring the legal and moral tensions between individual and collective responsibility for mass atrocities. Presenters will have the opportunity to contribute their insights on questions such as can we reconcile individual responsibility with collective culpability in mass atrocities? Is it possible to achieve true justice when a state or organization, rather than a specific perpetrator, is held accountable? Can transitional justice frameworks effectively address both the individual trauma and the collective harm inflicted by atrocities?
