Public lecture: Hate speech and Incitement in International Law

Our colleague, Audrey Fino, lecturer in International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law and PhD researcher within TLS, has been invited to give a public lecture as part of The Hague Initiative for Law and Armed Conflict (HILAC) Lecture Series. The topic is 'Hate Speech and Incitement in International Law', with particular emphasis on international criminal, humanitarian and human rights law.
The lecture will be followed by an expert panel discussion consisting of:
- Dr. Uladzislau Belavusau, senior researcher in European law at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut and expert in memory law and policies
- Predrag Dojčinović, Adjunct Professor and Research affiliate at the Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute (University of Connecticut) and editor of two books on Propaganda and International Criminal Law
- Alfons Orie, Judge at UN International Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, and former Judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
