On Thursday 12 March, the Dutch Government instructed that all events at Universities in the Netherlands be cancelled due to the current situation with the coronavirus. In order to ensure the safety and well being of those wishing to attend the scheduled event, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the Master’s Day on Friday, March 27th.

We will be organizing an online Master’s Day in its place to be held on Friday, April 3rd, between 3 and 5 p.m.

In order to take part in the Virtual Open Day you will need to register on Virtual UG.

Religion plays an important role in many national and international social themes. Sometimes this is obvious, especially when we read news about religious radicalization. Other times, it is much less obvious and we are not as aware of the influence religion has in social phenomena or discussions, such as in cases of sexual health or climate change. Religions continuously serve an important role in how we live together, consciously and subconsciously.

We offer various master's programmes that each focus on a different subject related to religion. Ranging from conflict resolution to the preservation of heritage, from health matters to political issues such as migration or climate change. You are welcome to join us during the online master's day and learn more about the Religion Factor in culture and society!
