Nolda Tipping-Griffioen will start as general director at the Center for Information Technology (CIT) of the University of Groningen as of July 1, 2024. I look forward to working in the dynamic environment of education and research and contributing to the further development of ICT within the UG.
Nolda Tipping is pleased with her appointment as general director of the CIT. "I look forward to working in the dynamic environment of education and research and contributing to the further development of ICT within the UG. At CIT I see people who are very passionate about their profession and tabout he University. I think that's great and I'm really looking forward to working with such colleagues."
Themes such as privacy and security, artificial intelligence and customer focus will be high on the agenda in the coming years. "Nowadays, almost nothing can be done without ICT, let's use that to our advantage to position the UG well as a University. I see that as part of my mission."
