The European Researchers’ Night and Zpannend Zernike 2023

Enjoy a weekend full of inspiration and knowledge! At the European Researchers' Night on September 29 and/or Zpannend Zernike on September 30 and 1 October, 2023.
A weekend full of science activities throughout the city of groningen. The four UG Schools of Science & Society are organizing a weekend that will broaden horizons and minds.
European Researchers' Night
The European Researchers’ Night on Friday 29 september is a Europe-wide public event, which displays the diversity of science and its impact on citizens' daily lives in fun, inspiring ways. Between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Forum Groningen will be transformed into a science festival full of science comedy, discussions, mini-lectures, music and experiments where you can offer a helping hand.
When: Friday 29th September from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Forum Groningen.
Costs: 7,50 euro incl. two consumptions.
Zpannend Zernike
On Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October Zpannend Zernike, the annual free science festival for primary school children. On Saturday 30 September from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. you will find Zpannend Zernike at various locations in the city and can help out as well.
When: Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: various locations.
Costs: free.
