UG at Noorderzon Festival 2023
UG is well represented at the annual Noorderzon Festival in the Noorderplantsoen. Among other things, there are lectures, workshops and demonstrations by UG scientists. Noorderzon, 'Festival of Performing Arts & Society', is one of the city's biggest festivals. This year it takes place from 17 to 27 August in the Noorderplantsoen.
UG's contribution to Noorderzon 2023 consists of:

the Faculty of Arts SPRAAKLAB: join a fun speech experiment and help science (multiple languages)

Flash lectures by the Young Academy Groningen about hallucinations, the psychology behind doing good, and more (Dutch)

Theatre lecture by André Aleman in collaboration with Studium Generale Groningen (Dutch)

Theatre lecture by Caro Verbeek in collaboration with Studium Generale Groningen (Dutch)

the Soundwalk: a walk through a unique Groningen soundscape, followed by a performance and presentation about the soundscapes of Groningen (can be attended separately, both in English)

The Left-wing Men Solve It: The Rule of Law, on trust in government. With Léonie de Jonge and Pieter Omtzigt, among others (Dutch)
